Guide Dog Users, Inc. Is pleased to present links to legislative web sites for all 50 states. We in the GDUI Advocacy and Legislative Committees believe that advocacy and education start with the individual and, that we should be able to use all resources at hand. These links may be used as a resource to find statutes, codes, laws and ordinances. You can also look up pending bills and find out which legislators have sponsored them. Most sites will link you with the laws and other government and legislative information for each state you choose.
We have tested each of the links below to assure that they do contain information about state laws and other legislative activities. When linking to a site, first look for your interest on the first page or level of the site. If your initial topic of interest is notlisted on the first page or level, or not found in an initial search, look under the site map.
If you are still having difficulty finding laws and other information, go to links labeled government or legislation. Most statutes will be found in one of these places. All sites do have links to laws and legislation/government sites for the state.
We hope that these links will give you a valuable resource to use to advocate and educate for the guide dog community.
