Wilson serves as the Statewide Disability Coordinator for all matters related to disasters in Florida.  Chip founded the ADA Consultants of NE Florida. The firm also provides business continuity training and planning – particularly targeting non-profit organizations and small businesses. In November, 2007, Chip was chosen to be the Statewide Disability Coordinator for Emergency Services. This requires extensive travel throughout the state and ensuring that people with disabilities are included in all aspects of emergency preparedness. Chip is the recipient of the Senator Stephen R. Wise Lifetime Achievement Award for his advocacy efforts.

His passion for animal rescue led him to create Sumter Disaster Animal Response Team. His trailers, once used to transport his drag race vehicles, are now retrofitted with oxygen monitors, ventilation systems, video feeds, and audio.  He has responded to every headline making disaster in the last decade, to transport thousands of abandoned animals. Sometimes, under the shroud of secrecy, authorities request Ronnie’s organization to respond to remove and relocate animals recovered from puppy mills and criminal enterprises.

2:30 – GDUI Live Auction. Raise those bids, and raise a toast or two for a chance on a new GW Micro BookSense, dog care products (Frontline), hotel stays, restaurant gift cards, and baskets of cheer plus other must have treasures. It’s for a really good cause, GDUI’s treasury.
