In 2008 GDUI will undertake a long-awaited task for any national membership organization. We will take the steps necessary to provide full-member voting. This means that every member in good standing of GDUI will be able to vote for candidates for the board and officer positions and any proposed constitutional changes. This page gives you links to more details. Please read each section carefully.
In February GdUI tested its full member voting capability by holding a special election to decide on constitutional amendments necessary to allow for full-member voting. We are pleased and very excited to say that the amendments passed overwhelmingly.
Voting will begin on sunday, May 4 and run through Sunday, May 11 at 11:59pm (PDT). Please read the article below on how to vote. We thank everyone in GDUI who helped make this historic process possible.
